Cubs Ready To Take The Field For The 2009 Season!!!

As the snow melts and the temperature is rising the Cubs are getting ready for the 2009
Softball Season.
The season kicks off on Sunday, April 26th at 11:30 PM to take on there Division rivals the Sofo
at the Margate Skate Park.
After winning the Championship in there first season the Cubs are to prove that their first
season was not a fluke. To do that the Cubs will be playing in CMSA D1 Division.
In the off season coach Nelson Castillo and his captains Stephanie Sharp and Ed Lambert
filled open spots on the team with some new and exciting talent. Joining the Cubs this year
will be Right Fileder Chris Becktel, Second Baseman Bradley Carlton, Third Baseman Nick
Lang and Catcher Keith Beisman.
In addition the Cubs will be fielding a team in the CMSA Thursday Night League. Joining the
team for Thursday Night will be Right Fielder Jayme Lemons, Pitcher Mary Krawcyzk and Short
Center Scott Milburn.
The Cubs are poised to show the rest of the league what they are made of in both the Sunday
and Thursday Leagues.
We welcome the new players into our family and eagerly anticipate the start of both seasons.
