HISTORY OF BEARS SOFTBALL IN CHICAGO
Bears softball goes back for several years. Most teams came and went as soon as the
season was over.
2007 began a new era in Bears Softball with the establishment of Bears Softball Chicago
the Bear community is now assured to have a long and stable presence in the CMSA
Summer Softball League.
2008 brought about the expansion of Bears Softball by adding and additional team in the
CMSA Sunday League. The Cubs take the field this summer in Division D2. In addition to
the Cubs, Bears Softball will also expand its presence in the CMSA Thursday League with
the addition of the Bruins.
Bears Softball Chicago is committed to providing an atmosphere where a player can come
out and enjoy a day out at the park with friends and family.
